What did franz think ‘for a moment’? 1 mark questions

  1. Answer:

In the village in which Franz lived, the bulletin board was the place from where all types of bad news came to the people.

That day, when he was going to school, he saw a huge crowd near it and thought of finding out the reason.

However, as he was getting late for school, he went ahead instead and after he reached his school, he got the bad news there.

The teacher told the class that an order from Berlin has been received that states that only German will be taught from the next day and hence this was their last French class.

Hence, Franz thought ‘for a moment’ to bunk the class and run away from school.
